IT Support Engineer (Based in Kidderminster College)

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about technology and delivering excellent customer service? We're looking for a proactive and skilled IT Support Engineer to join our Information and Data Services team at NCG.

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for IT support across our group, helping colleagues and learners make the most of systems like Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and a range of hardware and software platforms. You'll be involved in everything from desktop support and AV maintenance to digital transformation and major IT rollouts.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing first and second line IT support across multiple sites.
  • Supporting users with MS Teams, Office 365, Active Directory, and networking protocols.
  • Maintaining and deploying hardware/software using tools like SCCM.
  • Managing AV systems in classrooms and meeting spaces.
  • Assisting with office moves and liaising with estates, telecoms, and networks teams.
  • Keeping asset management and service desk systems up to date.
  • Training staff and contributing to service improvement plans.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong experience in desktop support and IT project rollouts.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft, Apple, and Office 365 environments.
  • Operational experience with Active Directory and AV systems.
  • Great communication and customer service skills.
  • A methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (or equivalent mobility).
