We're Hiring: Freelance Site Manager
Location: Northwest - Manchester, Liverpool, Wigan, Preston
Sectors: Prison
Project Types: Refurb/ New Build
Values: TBC
Payrate: £270-290 per day
Duration: Ongoing /long term
We are seeking experienced Freelance Site Managers for upcoming secure public sector projects in the Northwest. Previous EL1, EL2, or CVT Security Clearance is preferred as candidates will need this.
Key Responsibilities of a Freelance Site Manager:
- lead and manage construction activities and ensure project is on time, on budget, and to specification.
- Co-ordinate and manage contracts and subcontractors.
- Ensure full compliance within secure environment procedures and site access rules.
- Maintain daily records, reports, and progress reports.
- Liaise with client, authorities, project managers on a daily basis.
- Monitor all HSE and maintain to the highest standard.
- Ensure quality checks are carried out.
Requirements for the Freelance Site Manager:
- Minimum 4 years previous experience in construction (secure environment preferred).
- Security clearance - EL1, EL2, or CVT clearances.
- Experience working on public sector, MoJ, prison, or secure environment projects.
- UK driving licence is preferred.
Day rate/salary:
- Day rate £270-290 pd
- Weekly pay on a Friday
