The Migration and Border Technology Portfolio (MBTP) directorate drives digital ambitions, designs appropriate solutions and delivers digital services quickly and effectively, making a real difference in helping the Home Office achieve its ambitions to keep citizens safe and the country secure. TThis role is based within the Border Force Technology Delivery Centre, part of the Migration and Borders Technology Portfolio (MBTP) his role sits within the Border Force Technology Delivery Centre sits within the MBTP.
You will be working within a multi-disciplinary product team managing critical products for Border Force. These roles are imbedded within the Portfolio, with Product Managers being responsible for managing one or more products through the product-lifecycle, delivering outcomes for users and the business.
The Border Force Technology Delivery centre, made up of a series of products, are in the process of moving to a product-centric approach to delivery, focussing on outcomes. As a Product manager you will be critical to achieving this vision, whilst helping us to mature our approach to product management at a strategic level.
You’ll get to work with fantastic people and have a major impact on some of the most critical systems and services in the UK in a high-profile area attracting huge interest from ministers, wider government, the media and the public.
