Summary

- Support Worker - Highwoods, Colchester

- £12.64 per hour

- 15 hours per week - No weekends!

Looking for a role that fits around family life? This could be perfect for you. With shifts on Monday (9:00-16:30) and Wednesday (9:30-17:00), you'll have time for the school run in the morning and evenings free for family time. Best of all, there are no weekend shifts.

You'll be joining a friendly team in Highwoods, supporting three independent gentlemen aged 30-40 who share a home. Most of your time will be spent 1:1 with one gentleman, helping him enjoy the things he loves most. He's outgoing, sociable and enjoys being active from swimming and dance clubs to sports for confidence, meeting up with friends, and days out at the theme park. He has his own vehicle, so we're looking for someone who can drive (you don't need your own car).

This is a role for upbeat, positive people who enjoy having fun and bringing energy. You'll need great communication skills and a willingness to get involved in social events, because the people you'll support love being out. There's no support with personal care, mobility or medication administration, instead, your focus will be supporting routines, and making sure each week reflects what matters most to them. Two of the gentlemen have jobs and partners, while one requires 24/7 support, so you'll be part of a team that shares responsibilities and takes turns with core hours.

At Dimensions, we're proud to have been recognised as a Great Place to Work for seven years running. We believe support work should be rewarding, enjoyable and flexible and this role offers exactly that.

Based in Highwoods, Colchester, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in your local community while balancing work with family life.

Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and interviews will continue until the post is filled.
