Summary
Join our Integrated Localities Social Care Team as an Administrative Officer and become a vital part of a service that transforms lives every single day.
This position will give you the opportunity to join a team that delivers compassionate, high-quality social care. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our systems run smoothly, our data is accurate, and our team is equipped to provide outstanding support.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include keeping our databases and systems accurate and up to date, as well as gathering, analysing, and presenting key data and statistics to support informed decision-making. Acting as a first point of contact, you’ll handle incoming communications — including telephone calls, emails, and letters — with professionalism and care. You’ll also provide vital administrative support to team members, from booking appointments and managing diaries for the review team to organising meetings, taking minutes, and arranging room bookings. Additionally, you’ll maintain dashboards, rotas, and spreadsheets to help the team stay on track, while liaising directly with care providers, those who call on our support, and other professionals to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery.
This role offers genuine job satisfaction, knowing that every task you complete contributes to someone receiving the care and support they need. You’ll be part of a warm and collaborative team culture, working alongside passionate professionals who value kindness, respect, and shared purpose. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for professional growth, with plenty of scope to develop your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Most importantly, you’ll be making a meaningful impact in your community — playing a vital role in a service that truly matters.
If you have experience in administrative roles — especially within social care or public services — and are organised, detail-oriented, take pride in delivering high-quality work and thrive in a team setting, we’d love to hear from you.
