Summary
Do you have a background in mechanical maintenance engineering in a manufacturing or production environment? We’re looking someone who’s knowledgeable, enthusiastic, approachable and great at explaining things to young people. You’ll train groups of apprentices in engineering maintenance, and you’ll have a caseload of students to visit in the workplace, so there’ll be lots of variety.
You’ll get…
-£34.6k - £45.5k* starting salary plus an extra 28% of salary into your pension, -making the overall package £44.3k - £56.8k

You’ll need to be…
-positive, supportive and passionate, with a can-do attitude
-organised and reliable
-able to inspire students with your infectious enthusiasm and energy
-experienced in electrical and mechanical maintenance
-able to explain things simply and clearly
-willing to work towards assessing and teaching qualifications
-(ideally, you’ll be a qualified assessor and experienced in welding too)
What you’ll be doing…
-training apprentices and wider industry
-marking work, tracking progress and giving feedback
-supporting, training and mentoring the next generation of engineers at our state-of---the-art Technology Centre in Monkerton (near M5 junction 29), and on site with a range of employers
-joining one of the best engineering training centres in the UK
