Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Weekly rate: £525 - £600 per week (£105 - £120 per day) depending on experience
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a specialist SEN provision in Rochdale that offers nurturing and well-structured environments for children and young people with Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and related social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

These settings feature small class sizes, excellent staff-to-student ratios, and committed multidisciplinary teams who work together to provide personalised support and a broad curriculum. The focus extends beyond academic achievement to include developing key life skills and social abilities to empower every student to succeed.

Role Overview:
- Provide support to students with diverse special educational needs in one-to-one and small group settings
- Assist in delivering customised learning activities and encouraging positive behaviour
- Support the development of social skills, independence, and self-confidence in students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals within a multidisciplinary team
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Candidate Profile:
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships
- Calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting young people
- Committed to inclusion and helping every child succeed

To be eligible you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS registered with the Update Service
* Provide two professional child-related references
