Position: Youth Support Worker
Responsible to Director
Duties and responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Support Worker to provide daily emotional and practical assistance and care to vulnerable children and young people, including participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota. The role involves helping individuals access education, training, and employment opportunities while supporting them in developing essential independent and structured living skills to prepare for full independence. Responsibilities include organising engaging activities, promoting positive behaviour, and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will also liaise with external services when required and adhere strictly to safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the welfare of all young people and incapacitated children under our care.
This is a full-time permanent position.
Salary offered: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum depending on the level of work experience.
Previous work experience is essential due to the nature of responsibilities.
