Are you a driven, dynamic professional with a passion for building impactful business relationships?
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team at HIT Training. You’ll be at the heart of our mission: expanding specialist divisions, forging strategic partnerships, and helping businesses unlock the full potential of apprenticeships.
From day one, you’ll take ownership of your own portfolio, manage major accounts, and represent HIT at industry events across the country.
You’ll meet decision-makers from a wide range of sectors and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored training solutions that make a real difference.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own and grow key accounts: Drive engagement and business growth with existing clients.
Spot new opportunities: Identify market gaps and work with prospects to unlock potential.
Build lasting partnerships: Meet with managers and directors to foster strong, strategic relationships.
Stay ahead of the curve: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs.
Collaborate across teams: Co-create bespoke development plans with internal stakeholders.
Support negotiations: Help secure new business and long-term partnerships.
Keep records clean and compliant: Maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant CRM data.
Facilitate seamless service: Ensure smooth communication across departments.
About You
We’re looking for a proactive, commercially aware professional with:
Proven experience in business development within apprenticeships or work-based learning.
A track record of exceeding targets and driving growth.
Strong relationship-building skills across various channels.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
