Summary

Shear Meadow is a community residential home providing outcome focused care for adults with learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs. We are looking for a Team Leaderwith a passion for delivering outstanding care to assist the Registered Manager in the in the day-to-day running of the service ensuring a high standard of individualised care at all times by properly utilising resources available and implementing agreed care plans and policies as appropriate. Your day-to-day General supervision of staff within and outside of the Residential Home, ensuring that they and the service users are involved in the Residential Home activities Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service Understand the role and function of the keyworker and operate the keyworker system in use in the Residential Home. Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care Record and observe the progress of the service users within the Residential Home and notify the manager of their progress / change as necessary. Encourage and assist service users to develop and maintain links with relatives, carers and significant others in their lives Ensure all staff are correctly inducted and understand the companys aims Attend staff meetings and service users review meetings and make a valuable contribution.
