Summary
Community Contracts Assistant - Band 4
Location: The Rowans, Craigavon Area Hospital
Directorate: Planning, Performance, and Informatics
Hours: Full-time (36 hours per week) - Minimum of 28 hours considered
Contract Type: Temporary (17 November 2025 - 31 December 2025)
Pay Rate: £13.57 per hour
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our Community Contracts Team as a Band 4 Community Contracts Assistant. This role is essential in supporting the management and review of Independent Sector contracts with the non-statutory sector.
You will provide administrative support for contract review and performance meetings, maintain a central contract database, and produce high-quality reports measuring performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The successful candidate will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate documentation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update contract databases and SharePoint directories
- Provide administrative support for meetings and reviews
- Collate and analyse performance data and compliance trends
- Liaise with providers and regulatory bodies (e.g. RQIA)
- Support governance and audit processes
- Monitor and report on KPIs and contract risk registers
- Assist in updating Standard Operating Procedures
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- HNC/HND or higher qualification in an administrative field and 1 year's clerical/administrative experience
- OR 4 GCSEs (Grades A-C including English and Maths) and 2 years' clerical/administrative experience
- OR 3 years' clerical/administrative experience
Additional requirements:
- Experience in collating, analysing, and presenting Health & Social Care information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Access
- Strong numeracy, analytical, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
