Summary
Taper - Newcastle
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary
Search are expanding across the North East and are currently looking for experienced and reliable Tapers to join our growing workforce in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.
As a Taper, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality finishing work, including:
* Taping and jointing plasterboard
* Sanding and finishing surfaces to a high standard
* Preparing areas for painting and decoration
* Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A valid CSCS card
NVQ Level 2 or above (or equivalent experience)
Proven on-site experience as a taper/jointer
Valid work references
