About the Role:
As an Ad Hoc Nursery Assistant, you'll support local nurseries and childcare settings in Milton Keynes on a temporary, flexible basis. Whether you’re looking for part-time hours, term-time work, or a way to gain more experience in the early years sector, we offer a variety of shifts to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with daily routines, activities, and play
Supporting the care and supervision of children aged 0–5 years
Ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
Working alongside nursery staff to support learning and development
Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience in a childcare or early years setting (voluntary or paid)
A genuine love of working with children
Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential
