Our Tissue Viability Team provides specialist advice and guidance for patients with complex wounds and plays a key role in education regarding pressure ulcer prevention and wound care. We are looking for someone with specialist tissue viability knowledge and expertise in wound care who had a desire to develop their skills in a senior role within our team.

If you get selected for an interview, you will be asked to prepare and present a 5 minute presentation of the 'role of the Tissue Viability Nurse'
To provide professional and clinical leadership and expertise in the specialty of tissue viability including:
• Leadership and line management of the Tissue Viability Team
• A Trust wide advisory role on all aspects of complex wound management and pressure ulcer prevention and management
• Development of policy and procedures related to complex wound care and pressure ulcer prevention
• Management of a clinical caseload
• Support the development and delivery of a Trust wide educational programme
• Use of quality improvement methodologies to drive improvements in patient care

The successful candidate will have a passion for wound care and the provision of holistic care planning for those with complex tissue viability needs. Team leadership, service improvement and delivery of education are all key facets of this role.
