The Role

We’re looking for a practical, reliable, and proactive Maintenance and Warehouse Operative to join our friendly team in Hinckley. This is a varied, hands-on position within an engineering environment — ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, equipment, and machinery and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:

- Cleaning, maintaining, and preparing tools and equipment for projects
- Managing stock and ensuring accurate inventory control
- Packing, loading, and unloading materials for UK and overseas projects
- Transporting equipment for calibration and carrying out local deliveries
- Maintaining company vehicles and assisting with general site upkeep
- Supporting the project team with day-to-day engineering tasks as required


About You

You’ll have at least 3 years’ experience in a maintenance or warehouse role, with a solid understanding of how to work safely and efficiently in a hands-on technical environment.

Essential:

- Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive, can-do attitude with excellent attention to detail

Desirable:
- Category C1 licence (for operating our 7.5T vehicle)
- Experience in an engineering or construction setting

This is a full-time permanent role

You'll be working Monday to Friday 0800 – 1700 (with half hour lunch)

The pay for this role is £27,000 per year
