What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an organised, self-confident person with good communication and interpersonal skills to join our current team of Cover Supervisors. Experience in delivering STEM based subjects would be desirable.
Flexibility regarding hours can also be discussed. We would encourage potential applicants to contact us to visit the School prior to submitting an application.
The post will primarily involve supervising classes during the short-term absence of a teacher; small group supervision; classroom administrative support; accompanying learners on visits; supervision of learners at breakfast time or after school and mentoring individual learners.
As a school we invest in staff training and encourage forward thinking and empowerment, supporting each other and inspiring confidence and skill. Kepier’s Cover Supervisors are often promoted to roles within the school, progressing their careers in education.
The school is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. As part of our due diligence and to comply with our obligations in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, an online search of publicly available information will be undertaken for all shortlisted candidates. Enhanced Certificate of Disclosures are required for this position. Please note that in all cases written references will be taken up and made available to interviewers before the final selection stage.
Application form, job description and person specification are available on-line at
www.kepier.com Application forms (please do not attach additional letters or statements) should be returned to recruitment@kepier.com no later than 12 pm on Monday 24th November 2025. It is anticipated that interviews will take place on Thursday 27th November 2025.
We fully appreciate the time and effort required in completing an application and, whatever the outcome of this particular process, we are grateful for your interest in working at Kepier and wish you every success with your future career. Applicants who have not been contacted within 2 weeks of the closing date should assume they have been unsuccessful.
What the school offers its staff
Join a team where support, positivity, and respect are part of everyday life. Enjoy great benefits including free onsite parking, free gym access, excellent catering, and membership of the LGPS pension scheme—helping you feel secure now and in the future.
