Summary
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Operative to join a busy sheet metal production team. This role involves supporting production activities, maintaining a safe working environment, and assisting with machinery and general workshop duties.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 16:30
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour, with potential for overtime at enhanced rates
This position may lead to a full-time, permanent opportunity following a successful trial period.
Ideal Candidate- Previous experience operating a brake press is desirable
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to adapt to different production tasks
- Assisting with general production duties in the sheet metal workshop
- Operating machinery, including the brake press where applicable
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all company procedures and health & safety guidelines
