Summary
My client are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and discreet Personal Assistant to support the Construction Director. This role sits at the heart of the regional construction function, providing essential administrative, organisational, and communication support to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Construction Director.
Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel and site visits.
Prepare and distribute reports, meeting packs, presentations, and correspondence.
Maintain accurate records, trackers, and project documentation in line with company procedures.
Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring professionalism at all times.
Liaise closely with Site Managers, Contracts Managers, and other departmental heads to support workflow and deadlines.
Assist in the coordination of regional meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Monitor incoming emails, prioritising and responding where appropriate.
Support with general office management duties and ad hoc projects as required.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a PA, Executive Assistant, or Senior Administrator — ideally within construction, property, or housebuilding.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Confident, approachable, and able to build strong working relationships at all levels.
High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
A proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
