Search Consultancy are looking for an experienced Working Supervisor / Foreman for an immediate start in Wallasey, Wirral.
- Water civils project
- Waste water Treatment Works
- 10 hours per day
- Free parking
Duties will include:
· Supervision & Leadership:
· Directly supervise and coordinate sub-contractors and direct labour, ensuring a safe and productive working environment.
· Lead daily toolbox talks and ensure all site personnel understand their tasks and safety briefings.
· Motivate the team to achieve high standards of workmanship and programme deadlines.
· Planning & Coordination:
· Assist the Site Manager in the planning and sequencing of work activities.
· Manage the allocation of plant, equipment, and materials for the day's work.
· Monitor progress against the programme and report back to the Site Manager.
· Health, Safety & Environment:
· Champion a culture of "Safety First" on site.
· Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with company and statutory HSEQ regulations.
· Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with method statements and risk assessments.
· Quality Control:
· Carry out regular quality checks to ensure work meets the project specifications and drawings.
· Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, allocation sheets, and inspection records.
Candidates will require:
· Proven experience in a similar hands-on supervisory role on civil engineering projects (e.g., groundworks, drainage, highways, utilities).
· A strong, in-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation (SMSTS qualification is essential).
· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse site team.
· A practical, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail and quality.
· CSCS Card at Supervisor/Manager level.
· First Aid at Work qualification.
· Full UK Driver's Licence.
