Job Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, creative and professional Internal Communications professional to join our Group
and play a key role in our ongoing journey.

With internal communication a strategic priority championed by the CEO, you’ll keep our teams informed, connected and engaged;
creating a single Group ethos.

You’ll support and manage the Internal Communications Executive, have access to a Communications Assistant and an in-house graphic
design studio, and be part of a wider marketing and communications team.

The Role

Creating and curating content and conversation: delivering clear and purposeful messages which inform, inspire and drive
behaviours, aligned to our Group strategy. Also, supporting stakeholders in visible, two-way conversation.

Channel and community management: develop, deliver, manage and evaluate our internal comms channel infrastructure, ensuring
inclusive communication for all through face to face, written and digital channels that support Group and people needs.

Understanding people and cultures: ensuring our communication is appropriate to our diverse business audiences and that is aligns
to our values, People Promises and Awareness Events Calendar; whilst helping to create an environment where employee voice is
heard and that successes are recognised.

Influencing and advising: building effective stakeholder relationships and being a trusted advisor, offering recommendations and
supporting others in the Group, particularly managers, to become highly effective communicators.

Strategy, planning and business acumen: combining strong business acumen with an understanding of our people, to develop and
implement communication strategies, plans and campaigns that benefit the Group and people at all levels working within it.

Conducting research, measuring and demonstrating value: to deliver meaningful insights and evidence that demonstrates the value
and impact of the internal communication delivered. Ensuring plans are constantly reviewed and evolved in line with changing
people and Group needs.




What We’re Looking For

* Minimum 3 years of experience in a dedicated communications role
* Qualification in a related field
* Proficient in using digital internal communication channels such as MailChimp and SharePoint
* Experience of managing direct reports
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an unflinching attention to detail
* A proactive and creative outlook with the ability to be both highly agile and organised
* Design and video editing skills
* A confident demeanour; able to act with credibility with all levels of the business
