Summary
Specific elements of the role are outlined below but this list is not exhaustive. Waterside Health Centre and Blackfield Health Centre management activities for the Practice Nursing team, including: Mentoring and coaching a team of Practice Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Health Care Assistants, Phlebotomists and Admin Support Staff Recruitment, induction and training of team members Ensuring clinical coverage and suitable skill set for all sessions Management of staff appraisal system and assisting Registered Nurses with NMC revalidation requirements Member of Senior Management Team Work strategically with GPs and SMT to develop the nursing service at Red and Green Practice Working collaboratively with staff in the three member practices of the Primary Care Network to facilitate a joined-up approach to providing nursing care within the PCN Management of Learning Events and delivery of resultant action plans Delivery of annual QOF targets Management of annual flu vaccine procurement and delivery Management of Covid Vaccine Programme specifically organisation of the clinic setting, vaccine management and assisting with recruitment and training of volunteer workforce Cervical smear lead Infection Prevention and Control lead
