We are looking to recruit are looking to recruit a professional, conscientious, individual to become part of the Administration Team for our Community Neurological team based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire
Previous administration experience is essential, however full training will be given.

The roles and responsibilities of this post include:
• Carrying out reception duties for the Community Neuro service, meeting patients and carers when they attend for clinic appointments.
• Monitoring of stationery cupboards and medical storeroom for stock and support in the ordering of service stationery and medical supplies when required.
• To carry out general office tasks such as sorting incoming mail, franking outgoing mail, photocopying.
• Supporting Managers and Clinicians
• Maintaining records
• To accurately record information on Trust IT systems and database
Forwarding discharge summaries and other letters to patients and general practitioners
• Contacting patients by telephone to communicate changes to visit dates etc.
• To answer incoming calls, dealing with enquiries in a helpful manner, proactively taking action where appropriate.
