We are looking for Casual Childcare Support Assistants to join our ‘Outstanding’ rated Treetops Nursery at Thornaby Pavilion.

About Treetops
Treetops is an Ofsted-rated Outstanding childcare setting offering sessional care for children aged 2–4 years during term time. Our team delivers exciting, play-based activities that nurture curiosity and help children reach their full potential.
Session Times:
• Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
• Afternoon: 12:00 Noon – 15:00
The Role
As a Casual Childcare Support Assistant, you will work alongside our qualified Nursery Team to create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the delivery of Early Years activities.
• Assist with children’s personal care, emotional wellbeing, and comfort.
• Promote inclusive practice for children with SEND, working with caregivers and professionals.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and well-prepared nursery environment.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted standards.
• Record attendance and communicate with caregivers as needed.
(Training will be provided – no formal childcare qualification required.)
About You
You are enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoy working with children in a busy, rewarding environment. You will bring a caring approach and a willingness to learn.
Please note: Applicants must hold a valid enhanced Child Workforce DBS check.
