Summary
To work with disabled children and their families, assessing their need for social care services and providing
support to those identified as Children in Need; those who are subject to Child Protection plans; those who are subject to Care Proceedings; those who are Children We Care For and Leaving Care.
Looking for an all rounder candidate with experience in at least a few of these teams: Child Protection, Children in Care, Children in Need, assessment and some court work)
SWE registration
Experience working with Disabled Children desirable
Umbrella: £38.00
Need at least 2 years of post qualified experience. Disability experience would be useful.
Disability Team
Small team – 6 social workers / 2 family support works / 2 disability support worker
South of Oxfordshire
Must drive
All aspects of social work are covered, child protection/court work
Hybrid – 2 x a week in office, can be flexible / twice a month team meeting in person. Thursday needs to be one of the office days
Interviews can be done over teams
ASYE has to be completed
More experienced preferred, but disability skills are preferred
Liquid Logic system is used – beneficial if they have this knowledge but not required
– training is provided during induction
