Tudor Roof Tiles, a leading UK manufacturer of handmade clay roof tiles, is seeking a Kiln Operative to join our skilled production team in Lydd, Kent.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading kilns and drying tunnels safely and efficiently (electric pallet truck)
Monitoring kiln performance and firing cycles
Ensuring consistent quality and finish of handmade tiles
Working closely with the production and quality teams
Requirements:
Experience with kilns or ceramics preferred (training provided)
Good attention to detail and practical skills
Experience in operating an electric pallet truck
Reliability and teamwork (12 hours/4 days shifts/nights/days)
