Location: Hybrid, with occasional site visits
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5pm, Friday: 8:30am – 4pm
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Job Purpose
The Data Steward plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of the organization’s data assets. This
role is responsible for maintaining data standards, and collaborating with the business to ensure data is accurate, consistent,
and accessible.
Key Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
* To maintain & monitor master data quality and integrity predominantly but not limited to the group ERP system.
* Work with stakeholders at sites to drive standard processes for entering, changing and retiring master data
* Maintain metadata and data dictionaries
* Assist in the development of internal Data management / Data enrichment tools
* Enforce data governance policies and standards
* Attend such necessary training sessions (internal and external) as requested in order to be sufficiently equipped to perform
tasks.
* Adherence to all company policies.
Experience:
* Minimum 1 year experience in a data entry role
* Excellent attention to detail
* Analytical mindset, willing to push for the right result
* Experience in managing master data in business systems is desirable.
* Strong interpersonal communication and relationship skills
