ENGINEERING QUOTATIONS MANAGER
A opportunity to join our client, an established Global Engineering company. Rarely recruiting they are currently looking for a Full Time Quotations Manager to support the Sales Manager at their Northamptonshire based offices.
This is a Full time permanent role working from their Northamptonshire office however some Hybrid working is an option.
The salary is highly dependent on background however is paying a basic of at least £38k up to £40k plus (neg). There is on site parking and the ability to do Hybrid working on occasions.
Reporting directly into the Sales Manager your role will be to support with Technical Quotations and the tendering process for their bespoke Machinery.
Some Engineering background with the ability to read technical drawings would be highly desirable.
As an Engineering Quotation Manager you will
- Manage the end-to-end quotation process for equipment, systems, and spare parts
- Review tender documents, customer specifications, and enquiry packages to assess scope, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, pricing strategies, and commercial offers in line with company targets and margins.
- Ensure quotations are delivered on time, in the correct format, and aligned with customer requirements.
- Support sales managers with technical clarifications during customer discussions.
- Analyse quotation performance (win/loss rates, margins, response times) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Train and mentor quotation engineers or support other staff as required.
Communication is important as your job will involve Liaising with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to validate technical solutions and costings.
