About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Shop Labourer to join our busy aerospace manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the machine shop.
Sweep and tidy areas around CNC machines.
Assist machinists and other employees with general housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
Empty bins and dispose of waste materials appropriately.
Clear and remove metal swarf and other debris from machines.
Support production staff with general labouring duties as required.
Perform some heavy lifting as part of daily activities.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment is an advantage, but not essential.
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times.
Physically fit and able to lift moderate to heavy loads.
Reliable and punctual.
