Summary

An exciting opportunity to join an established logistics company for a fixed term position with growth into permanent role within AURA Logistics.

Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Class 1 Driver located in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The Class 1 Driver will be responsible for safely operating trucks, adhering to schedules, transporting goods, and following all traffic regulations. The role involves conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate logs of all activities. Additionally, the Class 1 Driver will be expected to communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members to ensure timely deliveries and high levels of customer service.

Qualifications
• Experienced in HGV Driving and handling Class 1 Vehicles
(2 Years experience preferred)
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
• Knowledge of tachograph systems and safety regulations
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Clean driving record and a commitment to safety
