Summary
Introduction
I’m a 20-year-old looking for support to be more independent in my community. I don’t use a wheelchair but can get tired and need help sometimes. I’m chatty once I get to know you, and I enjoy trying new things if they involve dogs.
Duties
What you’ll help me with:
• Walking with me and my dog
• Know a lot about dogs and help me find new fun places to walk him
• Support me with money when I’m buying things
• Teach me how to use the bus and train
• Help me think of new things to try and explore
Hours
This role involves providing support outside the home.
You’ll work 4 hours per week, scheduled between 10:00am and 2:00pm on weekdays.
Shifts may be arranged as either one 4-hour session or two 2-hour sessions, depending on the planned activities and preferences.
Rate - £14 per hour
Essential Requirements
I am looking for a female support worker aged 18–35 who’s active, reliable, and has a genuine love for dogs.
You must have:
• Experience of supporting people
• Comfortable driving an automatic car — you’ll be added to the car insurance so
you can use my car.
• Okay with a bit of dog hair and happy to be around cats
