Mission Resourcing is working with a reputable engineering manufacturer in LS29 to hire a MIG Welder for permanent afternoon shifts. This is a fantastic chance for great pay enhancements and long-term job security.
What’s in it for you: £15.74 -£17.99 per hour (DOE) + 25% shift allowance
Hours -Mon–Wed: 2:15pm – 12:30am | Thu: 2:15pm – 12:00am
Holiday entitlement: 25 days holiday + bank holidays (factory closed over Christmas)
Pension Contribution: 4%/4% pension, increasing to 6% after 12 months
Death in service cover x3 salary (up to £10k)
What you’ll be doing:
- MIG welding components to precise specifications
- Working from engineering drawings with accuracy
- Conducting quality inspections on all completed welds
- Maintaining welding equipment and tools
- Following all health and safety protocols
What you’ll bring:
- Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- A keen eye for detail and dedication to quality
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Coding to BS EN ISO 9606-1 (Desirable; renewal support available)
