The Melanoma team at St Bartholomew’s delivers comprehensive cancer care through a multidisciplinary team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in a new role working across various aspects of the pathway. The successful postholder will be comfortable working with spreadsheets and data to ensure patients receive seamless and well-coordinated care as they move through a complex pathway; from referrers outside of Barts Health, through to first appointment, and various treatment pathways.

Treatment can be delivered cross-site and involve many admin and clinical teams. This postholder will need to be able to manage working closely with clinical teams and reporting into operational managers, and be comfortable building relationships with other admin teams to ensure patients are ready for their appointment and are not lost to follow up in between services.

This postholder should have some experience working in an NHS admin environment. Clinical experience is desirable. Please be aware this post is a part-time role (3 days a week or equivalent), and is funded for 18 months. Please seek approval from your manager before applying if you are seeking a secondment opportunity.

For more detail please get in contact with the recruiting managers, Associate General Manager Chris Broderick – chris.broderick@nhs.net or General Manager, Louise Smith – louise.smith142@nhs.net
