Start Date: 10 November 2025 Duration: 12 Weeks
Hours: 36 per week
PAYE: £14.00/hour

About the Role
Knowsley Borough Council is seeking a skilled and emotionally intelligent Child Protection Minute Taker to join the Safeguarding Quality Assurance Service. This is a vital role supporting child protection conferences and safeguarding processes across the borough.
You’ll be responsible for attending and minuting Pre-Birth, Initial, Review, and Strategy meetings, producing accurate and detailed records that may be used in legal proceedings or multi-agency investigations. You’ll also support the Safeguarding Management Team with administrative tasks and data handling.
Key Responsibilities
Attend and minute Child Protection Conferences and strategy meetings
Produce and distribute decision sheets within 24 hours and full minutes within 15 working days
Maintain accurate records using ICS/Liquid Logic
Liaise with professionals across health, education, legal, and police services
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Support the development of systems and processes for safeguarding administration
Assist with statistical reporting and document preparation for training and performance analysis
✅ Requirements
Proven experience minute-taking in complex, multi-agency meetings
Proficiency in ICS/Liquid Logic systems
Strong written communication and attention to detail
Ability to manage sensitive information and work under pressure
