Description:
We're looking for an experienced, all-round Handyman OR Handywoman OR Handyperson to support with the ongoing maintenance and repair of a small residential block of 16 flats in the Canford Cliffs area of Poole.

This is a part-time freelance role, ideal for someone who enjoys varied work and takes pride in keeping buildings and communal areas well maintained. The work will involve approximately 6 hours per month, with flexibility to increase depending on requirements.

Typical tasks include:

  • General property maintenance and small repair jobs

  • Decorating and basic carpentry

  • Minor plumbing and electrical work

  • Occasional maintenance of communal gardens and outbuildings

You'll work on behalf of the freehold company that manages the block, but there may also be opportunities to take on additional work from individual flat owners within the building.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in general building or property maintenance

  • Basic knowledge of electrics and plumbing

  • Own tools and transport

  • Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated

  • Able to work safely and independently

Terms:

  • Freelance, ongoing arrangement

  • Flexible part-time hours (around 6 per month)

  • Local applicants only - based near Poole/Bournemouth
