Catering Operative - London Gatwick Airport

Location: Gate Gourmet, Perimeter Road, Crawley

Pay & Schedule

  • £12.50 per hour | Overtime: £18.75 (standard) | £25.00 (bank holidays)

  • Shifts: 06:00-15:00 | 07:00-16:00 | 08:00-17:00

  • Rotas: 5 on / 3 off or 4 on / 2 off

  • Contract: Ongoing - with Temp to Perm opportunities

  • Start Date: Immediate starts (after security checks)

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in keeping flights running smoothly by:

  • Preparing food trays and airline meal sets

  • Checking, sealing & labelling trolleys and canisters

  • Receiving and organising stock in the warehouse

  • Cleaning and sorting returned airline equipment

  • Supporting kitchen and catering operations

  • Following strict food hygiene and safety standards

Who We're Looking For

  • Reliable, punctual, and a great team player

  • Happy to work in a fast-paced, hands-on role

  • Physically fit to lift and move catering equipment

  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn - no experience required!

Pre-Employment Requirements (Airport Role)

  • Pass a Criminal Record Check (paid for by us)

  • Provide a 5-year address & work history (support provided)

  • Hold valid photo ID (passport or driving licence)

  • Complete a paid Aviation Security Course

  • Be eligible to work in the UK
