Position: Production Operative

Shifts: Day shift (4 AM - 2 PM) and Back shift (4 PM - 2 AM)
Pay: £12.60 - £18.90
Contract: Temporary to permanent opportunities

About the Role:
We are looking for dedicated Production Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing facility specialising in sweet bakery products such as icing sugar, cake fillings, and dessert toppings. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, fast-paced production environment with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mixing and processing machinery to produce bakery products.

  • Weigh and measure ingredients accurately according to batch instructions.

  • Monitor and perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.

  • Pack, label, and prepare products for shipping and distribution.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the production area.

  • Follow all health and safety, food safety, and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing is a plus but not essential; full training will be provided.

  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency.

  • Physically able to carry out manual handling tasks such as lifting and moving stock.

  • Ability to stay productive and focused in a busy, fast-paced environment.

  • Reliable, punctual, and a good team player with a positive attitude.
