Want to be part of a team that really cares and empowers you to help change a customer’s life for the better? As our Lead Support Worker, you’ll be at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex tenancy sustainment needs to develop their skills to live more independently in the community. You’ll make a big difference each day as you help our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations. Amazing we know!

What you’ll do

• Collaborate closely with our rented colleagues to ensure that customers living in Home Group tenancies receive the support they need to successfully sustain their homes.
• We will provide tailored support to customers in general needs tenancies across the East Coast and Yorkshire, responding to needs identified by Housing Managers.
• Acting as a key point of contact during potentially complex periods in their lives, we will offer direct assistance, signpost to specialist services, and empower customers with the skills and confidence to maintain their tenancies.
• You will maintain strong communication with our rented colleagues, ensuring information is shared openly and consistently. Accurate and timely updates to internal systems will be essential to reflect the support provided.
• As this is a pilot initiative, adaptability is key. We’re looking for a colleague who embraces change, works holistically, and is committed to meeting evolving customer needs with empathy and professionalism.

Why join us

You have
• Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working collaboratively with an eye for detail.

The practical bits

• Monday-Friday 9am -5pm
• Where we’re flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion.
• Travel across the region may be required, to get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
• Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.
• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.

What’s in it for you?

• 34 days leave (including bank hols and a “me day” to use for whatever you fancy) increasing to 39, and time off for volunteering too!
• Health cash plan saving you from £1140 per annum. We’ll cover your costs (and kids if you have them) towards dental, optical, prescriptions, alternative therapies and lots more.
• Over 800 high street discounts on groceries, holidays and days out. Looking for a new phone, bike or car? Save money with us.
