You will have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, with strong experience in administering Microsoft 365 services, particularly SharePoint Online.

You should also have hands-on experience of building, maintaining, and repairing computer hardware, configuring, and supporting network components, and ensuring data and system security.

Responsibilities

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT & Network Support Officer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting the delivery of key digital transformation projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled IT professional to play a central role in implementing and supporting SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 across the organisation. You will contribute to the successful deployment, configuration, and management of these platforms, ensuring effective collaboration, data integrity, and secure access to digital resources.

Working as part of a small, dedicated IT team, you will provide technical support to users, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the organisation’s systems and networks. Your work will include maintaining servers and end-user devices, installing, and configuring hardware and software, and managing network and data security.

This will involve assisting users, resolving technical issues, and producing clear documentation and guidance to support the effective use of these platforms.

The Individual

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach issues methodically and document solutions clearly. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as you will be required to explain technical issues to non-technical users effectively.

You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, managing your workload to meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities. A positive and professional attitude, combined with good interpersonal skills, will enable you to work constructively with colleagues and service users alike.
