This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to develop a career within our ICT Team and assist us in delivering a professional service in an ever changing and increasingly demanding environment.
Based at the Council Offices in Beeston the ICT Department is responsible for the provision of a wide range of high-quality ICT services to the council’s end users. This is a crucial role where you will be part of a small and friendly team responsible for the day-to-day support and maintenance of the Council’s ICT systems looking after PCs, laptops, printers, file servers, telephony systems, network infrastructure and software applications.
You will need a broad range of technical knowledge with the ability to install and troubleshoot a wide range of hardware, software and have a basic understanding of networking. You will have a customer focused approach with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
To be successful you will need an excellent knowledge of Microsoft software systems (Including but not limited to: Windows 11, Server 2022 -2025, Administration of the Microsoft M365 Suite including Exchange, Entra, Defender and Teams also On premiss Active Directory, SQL Database management, VMware Virtualization Platform, Networking experience, amongst other technologies) and the ability to form working relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers and partners.
