Summary

Housing Management Worker



Earn £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum) - pro rata



Permanent - part time (33.5 hpw)

You'll be part of a close knit team, helping customers manage their tenancy and maintain their property, while keeping our service running smoothly.



What you’ll do



  • You’ll support your customers in understanding their tenancy and manage their rent.


  • Help our customers with housing benefit claims, and signposting to other services.


  • Turn around empty flats quickly so new customers can move in.


  • You’ll carry out and record the routine safety and compliance checks in our building making sure we’re compliant.


  • Keeping records up to date and make sure contractors meet our standards.

You have



  • Experience in housing, property, care or criminal justice, or equivalent experience.


  • A “can do” positive attitude, you’re proactive and well organised, and able to work on your initiative.


  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help your customers.


  • Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners


  • Passion for property and get a thrill out of knowing that your properties are the best they can be for our customers!

The practical bits



  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly when needed.


  • The ability to work independently using your own initiative and as part of a team.
