MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical 1. Provide specialist psychological assessments and formulations for complex casesusing a range of methods, including psychometric testing, structured interviews,and observations. 2. Develop, deliver, and evaluate psychological interventions for children, carers,and families informed by trauma-informed, attachment-based, andneurodevelopmental approaches. 3. Offer specialist consultation and formulation support to social workers,therapeutic practitioners, and carers. 4. Contribute to psychologically informed care planning and multi-agency decision making. 5. Undertake and advise on risk assessment and risk management. 6. Work flexibly across settings to meet the needs of children and families. 7. Maintain high standards of clinical record-keeping in accordance with HCPCstandards and HSC policy. Supervision and Training 1. Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to Assistant Psychologists,Psychological Practitioners, and Therapeutic Support Workers. 2. Contribute to the delivery of training for staff and carers on trauma, attachment,and neurodiversity. 3. Participate in regular professional supervision and annual appraisal with the Lead Clinical Psychologist. 4. Maintain and record continuing professional development (CPD) consistent withHCPC and service requirements. Service Development and Governance 1. Contribute to service improvement initiatives and the development of traumainformed and neurodevelopmentally informed practice across Childrens Services. 2. Participate in clinical governance, audit, and research activities within theReparative Care Team. 3. Work within the HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics and relevantBPS professional practice guidelines. 4. Uphold the values of reflective practice, collaboration, and compassionate care
