Are you looking for a Care Assistant role where you can make a difference? If so read on… We are a small nursing home operating in Weston-super-Mare, with a reputation for offering high quality care for all the residents. The Home provides general nursing and dementia care for elderly people.
Currently have a vacancy for a care assistant who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for elderly people, show flexibility to do day and night shifts.
Responsibilities of a Care Assistant to include,
• Washing and dressing
• Support and serving with meals and drinks
• Interacting and providing emotional support
• Engage residents with activities such as arts and crafts, musical evenings,
social occasions
• Evidencing delivery of care
About you,
We want someone who is committed, passionate, a positive and can do attitude. You should have,
• At least 2 years in an elderly care setting
• Preferably completed or studying for Level 2 in Health and Social Care
• Show energy and enthusiasm
• Ability work with people and contribute to the wider team and positive attitude
towards work.
