Summary
Vehicle Technician – Derby
Salary: £36,000 – £46,500 (depending on qualifications and experience) + uncapped bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours | Saturday mornings on rota

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle faults, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and more
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and software to resolve complex issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Advise customers on vehicle issues and recommended repairs
- Keep your workspace clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
- Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Vehicle Technician Requirements
- Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience working in a professional workshop
- Full UK driving licence
- A passion for cars and commitment to delivering top-quality work
