About the Role
Birmingham Children’s Trust is seeking a passionate and experienced Practice Model Officer to lead the implementation of our Connections Count practice model. This short-term project role is central to embedding trauma-informed, developmentally sensitive, and relationship-based approaches across the Trust.

You’ll be a key driver of cultural change, supporting staff through bespoke learning sessions and reflective practice, and championing the model in everyday service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging training rooted in trauma-informed and relationship-based practice

Lead tailored learning sessions in response to staff needs across the Trust

Promote and embed the Connections Count model in operational practice

Support continuous improvement and reflective learning across teams

What We’re Looking For
✅ Qualified social care professional with experience in practice development ✅ Strong understanding of trauma-informed and developmentally sensitive approaches ✅ Skilled trainer and facilitator with excellent communication skills ✅ Ability to lead cultural change and promote best practice ✅ Available to start immediately and commit to the full project duration
