Summary
The Best Connection - Manchester is currently recruiting a Multi-Drop Van Driver on behalf of our client, a market leader in their industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and friendly team on a temporary ongoing basis.
Pay & Working Hours
- £12.21 per hour
- £16.24 After 8 hours
- Monday to Friday, 05:00 start
- Minimum 8 hour's pay per day
- Ongoing temporary work available
Job Role
- Safely operate, scan, and load your own 3.5 tonne van
- Driving both a long wheel base and a short wheel base vehicle
- Complete 20-40 drops per day, delivering stationary goods
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time
- Dealing with Customers daily when delivery of products
Requirements
- Valid Cat B UK driving licence
- Minimum 1 year's Commercial Van driving experience (for insurance purposes)
- Comfortable with Loading of your own vehicle as this is a requirement for this role
- Excellent customer service as dealing with customers is a part of your day to day role
- Comfortable with driving both Long Wheel and Short Wheel based vehicles
- Reliability and excellent timekeeping is essential to success in this role
- Comfortable with early morning starts
