Established for over 50 years, operating in the North East, Yorkshire, and Humberside, here at Springfield Healthcare, we`re passionate about delivering the highest quality care and support for people living in their own homes.
We currently have a new and exciting opportunity for a Regional HR Advisor to provide high quality advice, and hands on support to our teams across Yorkshire.
Work location is flexible from either our Sheffield, Leeds or Hull office, however regular travel to all sites will be required as part of the role.
You`ll be the first point of contact for all ER issues and will take the lead in managing grievances, chairing disciplinary investigations and hearings, advising on performance management issues, and sickness absence management.
Managing the maternity/paternity processes for employees including liaising with payroll, communicating entitlements to staff, completing risk assessments, managing KIT days and supporting return to work.
You`ll be managing long term sickness absence, including conducting welfare meting and chairing capability/ill-health meetings and dismissals
Monitoring and management of short term sickness absences and instigating disciplinary action where triggers levels are reached
Training and coaching Managers on best practice and HR policy
Supporting with retention, engagement and wellbeing initiatives
To be considered for the role, you must have at least 2 years experience in a HR Officer or Advisor role, great communication skills, a well rounded knowledge of Employment Law, and be CIPD qualified.
We offer a competitive package of £30k per annum, plus benefits
