I’m currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Unit Manager to join a reputable nursing home provider. This is a non-nursing management position, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership and organisational skills who’s passionate about delivering exceptional standards of care.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily running of a designated unit within the home. You’ll lead and support your team to ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the unit, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Lead, support, and motivate the care team to maintain high standards of care
- Oversee staffing levels, rotas, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Contribute to audits, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives

About You:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a care or residential setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Compassionate, professional, and approachable manner
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care is desirable
