Summary
Salary: £30,204 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm
Occasional Saturday mornings (1 in 4) – Overtime paid
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our onsite catering team at Royal Mail in Leeds. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality meals to our staff and visitors, ensuring excellent standards of food safety, presentation, and service.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and deliver a varied and nutritious menu to meet staff needs
Lead, motivate, and support the kitchen team to achieve high culinary standards
Maintain food hygiene and health & safety compliance at all times
Manage stock levels, ordering, and budgets efficiently
Ensure a smooth daily service while maintaining excellent presentation and portion control
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a busy kitchen environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management
Creative approach to menu planning and food presentation
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
£30,204 per year
