We’re looking for an organised and confident Employer Engagement Officer to build and maintain strong links between the College and local employers. This role supports students in gaining meaningful work experience and industry placements, helping to develop their employability skills and prepare them for the workplace.What you’ll do:Engage with local employers to create work experience and T-Level placement opportunitiesBuild and maintain sustainable employer relationships across multiple sectorsMatch students with suitable placements and support them throughout their experienceEnsure placements meet Health & Safety, safeguarding, and compliance requirementsWork with curriculum teams to support employability events, talks, and career activitiesTrack, monitor and report on placement activity and employer engagement outcomesWhat we’re looking for:Minimum Level 2 English and Maths (or willingness to achieve within set timeframe)Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skillsExperience engaging with employers or external partners in a similar roleExcellent organisational skills and confidence using Microsoft OfficeFull, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel locally for employer visits
