Crynodeb
We are seeking a skilled, time served, Lead Technician to join our team based in Seaham, County Durham. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in the water utility sector along with undertaking pipe surveys/measures and provide problem solving techniques within our organisation and customer base.

Responsibilities
Communicate with our customers and end users on a one to one basis improving our general footprint / sale
Carry out site surveys around the UK
Assist with design of pipework connections along with our in house team
Working in a small team you will be expected to conduct your own time management objectives
Oversee, lead and train, where and when necessary, other Installation Engineers / Techs
Be able to create site specific RAMS to which most are generic in our organisation
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations and material estimates
Some out of hours may be required to cover emergency works
Experience
Full UK Driving License Essential (max 6 penalty points considered)
Proven experience as a pipe fitter or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various tools and equipment
Experience in plumbing tasks is advantageous
On site welding experience would be advantageous but not essential
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively
